Old Farm Estates Pool

Open May 23 - September 7 (2009)

Noon to 9:00 pm-Tuesday to Sunday

Open on all holidays

Hours are reduced when Parkway School is in session

 

WHY?

  • It’s HOT OUT THERE! So cool off at the pool!

  • Join the fun. SWIM, SUN, SOCIALIZE. A great place to meet new friends

  • Family memberships include parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren.

  • Swim Team for the kids. 

  • Pool is open in the evening until 9:00 pm, wind down and relax

  • Beverages, snacks and food allowed.  Bar B-Q with our Weber grills.

  • Bring guests at a reasonable fee (A great place for birthday parties and family get togethers).

  • Rafts and other pool toys are allowed.

  • Separate Kiddie pool.

  • More fun than cleaning the garage on Saturday.

 

 

General Pool Rules

  1. No Glass items are allowed in the pool area.

  2. Running and unsafe play will not be allowed.

  3. No diving in the shallow end of the pool.

  4. All swimmers must wear swimsuits. No shorts or cutoffs allowed.

  5. No pets are permitted in the pool area.

  6. Children must be 9 to come to the pool alone. Children 8 and below must be accompanied by someone 13 or older.

  7. Pool Toys are not allowed in the deep end.  Balls, rafts, etc. must be used in a safe manner.  Life guards may request the pool toys be removed if the pool is crowded.

  8. Pool users must be responsible for cleaning up after themselves.

  9. Be courteous to other swimmers. The life guards will talk to anyone whose behavior is disturbing others.

  10. There will be a lane kept open for lap swimming.

  11. Adult swims may be called for 10 minutes each hour during crowded times for swimmers 18 years and older.
     

Pool Diving Rules

  1. No swimming in the diving area.

  2. Only one person is allowed on the diving board at any given time.

  3. You are not allowed more than one spring off the board.  There are no double bounces.

  4. Dive only from the front of the board, do not dive sideways.

  5. You are not allowed to sit on the board. (No handstands, cartwheels, etc.)

  6. After diving, swim directly to the side of the pool or to the ladder.

  7. Rafts, inner tubes, etc. will not be allowed in the deep end at any time.

  8. When going off the diving board, make sure the area in front of the board in clear.
     

Old Farm Estates Pool is owned by all of the Homeowners of the Old Farm Estates Subdivision.  The pool grounds and facilities are maintained by the Homeowners and Trustees of the Subdivision.  The Pool facilities are operated by the Old Farm Estates Swim Club, a members only non profit corporation. 

 

Usage of the pool requires the purchase of a membership in the Old Farm Estates Swim Club.  The annual costs to open and operate the pool are funded by annual membership fees collected from members.  Membership is open and available to all Old Farm residents at a discounted price.  Non residents living outside of Old Farm Estates may also purchase memberships.  Please feel free to invite additional friends and relatives to join.
