St. Louis County has given the go ahead for pools to open June 15th with restrictions.  We will begin operations on Tuesday, June 16th and we will be open Tuesday-Sunday going forward.

While we are excited to get the pool open and know everyone is anxious to enjoy it, we ask that you please take a moment and read some important information about how the pool will operate this season:

  • 25% of the usual “bather load” will be allowed in the pool facility.  This translates to 50 people for our pool.

  • To maximize access to the pool we will have 3 time slots during the day for people to sign up via the Sign Up button below, with time in between for our lifeguards to rest and clean common surfaces.

    • Time slots will be Noon-2:15, 3:15-5:30, and 6:30-8:45 and can be reserved up to 7 days in advance

    • You must have a reservation in order to enter the pool area - please check availability online and sign up before coming down to the pool.

    • Each reservation can include up to 8 people (space permitting) - but everyone in your party must be a member of your household.  No one in your party will be admitted unless their name appears on your reservation

    • Due to the overwhelming requests to 'reserve' the available pool time slots, the Trustees have decided that, currently, we will all be limited to 1 (one time) slot per day per family, subject to the 8 person limit per reservation. In addition, we will all be able to reserve no more than 4 time slots in any 6 day reservation period.

    • If you are unable to attend your reserved time, please return to the site and cancel it as soon as possible so someone else may claim it

  • Everyone in your party must have a mask

  • Everyone will need to sign a waiver one time per family to enter the pool.  To save time you can print and a copy of the waiver HERE and bring it with you on your first visit.

  • Everyone will be asked a series of COVID-related health questions at each visit.  If you are experiencing symptoms, please stay home!

  • We will open without the diving board, baby pool and basketball hoop.  We will monitor how it goes, and county regulations before possibly adding those features back in

  • We will have a one way walkway around the pool per county guidelines and will relocate some of the tables around the pool deck to allow for proper spacing

  • Social distance rules will be listed around the pool and we will have cleaning stations set up for people to use, to spray down shared spaces before use

This plan represents a lot of hours of work by pool committee volunteers over the past few months and we believe it serves the needs of our community and ensures we comply with county requirements.  With that said, this is uncharted territory for all of us and we ask for your patience and understanding as we figure things out, find opportunities to improve, and deal with evolving guidelines.  The Old Farm community has come together throughout this pandemic - hanging rainbows in windows, creating artwork on sidewalks, and organizing birthday parades.  In that spirit, please enjoy the pool safely and responsibly to keep each other healthy.  See you at the pool!
