2026 Swim Team
The Old Farm Estates Swim Team is dedicated to providing a fun and challenging opportunity for swimmers to improve their swimming skills and enjoy the spirit of friendly competition. The Team not only provides an excellent source of exercise and camaraderie for children while they are on summer break, it also provides a great sense of community spirit for the entire family.
The Old Farm Estates Swim Team is open to both OFE pool members and non-residents, ages 5-18, who can swim at least one length of the pool. Non-Residents need to purchase an Old Farm Swim Club Membership to participate.
Register each swimmer separately. Payment will be collected the first week of practice (cash, check or Venmo accepted).

Practice Schedule
Practice begins Monday, June 1 and continues through Friday, July 10.

Volunteers

Team participation requires each family to volunteer a minimum of 2 work duty shifts during the regular season dual meets.

Number of shifts determined based on complete team registration numbers.

There is NO BUY-OUT OPTION. A swimmer's ability to participate in meets is dependent on signing up for required shifts prior to the first meet.

2026 Kickboard Team
The Old Farm Estates Kickboard Team is an introduction to swim team for young swimmers, ages 3 and up. Participants will build confidence, learn essential water safety, and develop foundational swim team skills in a fun and supportive environment. This program helps improve strength and endurance as swimmers work toward completing a full pool length of swimming independently.
Requirements:

Must be at least 3 years old

Must be water-confident
-
Must be potty trained
Participants do not need to purchase a Swim Team swimsuit for Kickboard Team. Goggles are recommended.
Kickboard Team is not required to participate in any swim meets. However, we do offer a kickboard race at the beginning of each of our home swim meets. This year we have two home meets, June 22 and June 29. Swimmers are asked to arrive by 5:00 p.m. and the meet starts at 5:30 p.m. Parents are not required to volunteer at the swim meets.
Kickboard Team is not a drop-off program. Parents or guardians should remain onsite during practice. To help swimmers build confidence and independence, parents or guardians should not interfere with practices or instruction.
Kickboard Team is volunteer led. Kathleen Benckendorf, Adam Samson, and Dan Bellavia will coach the program for the 2026 season.
