Annual OFE Events

There are several annual community events that happen and residents are more than welcome to volunteer and participate. Refer to the OFE calendar for dates and event details. Visit the OFE Committees page to learn how to get engaged!

Egg Hunt

This event includes an egg hunt for children of all ages. Several local business owners provide a chance for the children to win other prizes.

Food Trucks

Food trucks may be scheduled during the warmer months. They park on the common grounds parking lot near the pool.

 

Pool Beautification Days​

Come help the pool committee get the pool ready for the season. Placing furniture, power washing the deck, organizing closets, touch up paint, etc.

 

Last Day of School Party

Usually held the afternoon/evening of the last day of school (Parkway schedule), this party includes activities for the children, hot dogs, and popsicles.

 

Flick & Float Nights

Once a month during the summer months, residents are invited to attend a movie and swim at the pool. The movie begins at dusk.

 

4th of July Parade & Party

The 4th July parade begins in front of Fern Ridge High School and proceeds to the swimming pool where there is open swim for all residents throughout the day. The party continues with games, food, and fun.

 

Trivia Night & Silent Auction

Trivia Night is a fun evening for adult residents (21+) and their friends and families. Trivia Night is held at the pool. Register as an individual or as a whole table.

The pool will close at 5:00 p.m. for Trivia Night and no children will be allowed at the pool past that time. It's always a great time—and you don't have to be a pool member to attend. Bring a cooler, an appetizer to share, and dollar bills for fundraising games.

 

Back to School Party

To kick-off back to school, this party includes activities for the children and popsicles by the pool.

 

Dog Days of Summer 

Bring your dog down to the pool to swim on the Tuesday after Labor Day.

 

Halloween Party

Before trick or treating in the neighborhood, join OFE residents for hot dogs and games in the common ground parking lot at the pool and show off your costumes!

Fall Fest

One of the Engagement Committee's newest events, Fall Fest is an opportunity to bring your fire pit to the Common Ground parking lot, play corn hole, washers, make s'mores, listen to music, and meet your neighbors.
